Supply Chain Manager - Life Science
 

Job Description


  • Overall responsible for life Sciences Cost to Deliver, Inventory Levels Optimization and Customer Satisfaction in Rest of Asia region (China, India, South East Asia- Singapore, Australia and New Zealand)
  • Coordinate inventory management strategies (Forecasting, Safety Stock Planning) along with Manufacturing/Supply Chain in Western Hemisphere and Europe, Asia Distribution Centers and the Asia Shared Services Supply Chain organization
  • Coordinate activity with Life Sciences sales leadership on inventory, freight optimization, product rationalization, monthly forecast, etc
  • Prepare the weekly backlog report
  • Coordinate with the leadership of other departments to produce and ship quality products on time and on budget
  • Ensure adherence to quality procedures and company policy
  • Measure and prepare supply chain efficiencies report o n inventory and customer service
  • Promote supply chain excellence
  • Report to supply President of Life Sciences (Rest of Asia) with strong dotted line to Vice President of Global Supply Chain
 
Requirements

•    Minimum 7 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment within life Science (Biopharm, Medical, etc)
•    Bachelor of Science or Business Administration Degree in Business, Logistic, Operations Management or Engineering
•    CPIM and APICS certification desired
•    Familiarity and experience with ERP (MAPICS/SAP) and IT application in support of supply chain/order fulfillment activities
•    PC proficiency with skill in MS office programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
•    Knowledge of manufacturing requirement in a medical device or pharmaceutical environment including qualification, validations, QSRs along with long-term planning and forecasting
•    Experiences in areas such as inventory management, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, planning, customer service and distribution management
•    Good financial management and analytical skills
•    Excellent team player including ability to operate in a multicultural, matrix environment with multiple functional areas
•    Ability to speak multiple languages (English, Chinese, Other) with good command of spoken and written English. Good written and verbal communication skills
•    Self-motivated, result-oriented and high adaptability. Problem solver with good influencing skills. Resourceful and creative
•    Must be able to travel 30% of the time within Asia
