Process Team Supervisor

Job Description

Be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment
Be responsible for daily operations of the processing and spray drying plant
Resolve process related to quality issues, ensure correction action plans are initiated and monitored
Manage production scheduling and plan work force utilization to ensure efficient use of resources
Initiate projects to improve the quality, efficiency and safety in the process department
Track and assist department in achieving KPIs
Ensure continuous compliance to Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP)
Drive Lean / Sigma continuous improvement projects / initiatives within the Department

Requirements

Diploma in Process Engineering, Food Science or Biotechnology
Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in food or pharmaceutical industry
Experience in dairy processing will be an added advantage
Possess knowledge in Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
Fluent in spoken and written English
Ability to perform shift work
